Our congregation depends on the gifts and tithes of its members, and this enables us to employ our ministers and admin staff, undertake a variety of ministries, support the wider work of the church and cover the essential costs of property and administration.
We invite you to consider how you might support this work:
- If you come to church on a Sunday, you can place a gift in an Offertory Bowl at the Gift Table at the rear of the auditorium. Since the pandemic, we do not pass around a bowl during the service. The table also has some giving envelopes and information about bank transfers.
- Use the EFTPOS machine at the Gift Table which has some preset amounts, or you can choose your own contribution. Please ask if you need assistance with the technology.
- Use direct bank transfer to the TUC bank account from your account.
BSB: 634634,
Account name: Tuggeranong UC Parish Erindale,
Account Number: 100015939 - Pay via Cash, EFTPOS or cheque at the church office. Please bring cash or cheques in an envelope marked OFFERING.
- Post cheques (not cash) to TUGGERANONG UNITING CHURCH, PO BOX 423, ERINDALE CENTRE, ACT, 2903
- Make a one-off donation at any time using any of the above methods.
An excellent way for regular giving is to make scheduled transfers from your personal bank account. Write “OFFERING {SURNAME}” in the “payment description” box. Having a name attached to each payment received in our account helps our treasurer to reconcile our accounts with our bank statement each month, although you may remain anonymous if you wish.
Whichever way you make an offering, we want you to know that it is deeply appreciated and is used to further the mission of Christ here and in the wider community.
Fundraising
we have a Growth Plan to build on the work of previous generations and ensure a congregation ready to take us further.
A new element to the Plan is to extend our building to allow worship and ministries to grow, and to release previously filled spaces to be used for ministry. To find out more about this plan and the opportunities to contribute, please view our Growth Proposal page.
Bequests
A Bequest – small or large – sees that the work that we have been part of continues in future. We suggest discussing your plans with trusted advisers, and if you like, with our Ministers and lay leaders. We will be providing further information here about how you can make a bequest.
