The pages below contain important information regarding the Uniting Church’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as policies which have been put in place at Tuggeranong Uniting in order to protect our congregation and community, and provide ongoing spiritual and pastoral support at this time.
At a congregation meeting held on 19 July we discussed our church members’ thoughts about resuming worship services at the church building, taking into account the current COVID-19 situation. Most of our congregation were of the opinion that returning to large scale church services under the COVID restrictions would not be safe or comfortable, and would exclude some people, so the decision was made not to return to worship services at the church for now. This will be reviewed as the situation progresses.
Our worship services, bible studies and meetings will continue to be conducted online using Zoom until the situation becomes safe for us to meet in person again.
The church office has reopened and will operate during office hours (Tuesday to Friday from 10:00am to 1:00pm). Social distancing restrictions are in place for all visitors to the church. Please maintain the 1.5 metre physical distancing requirement at all times when on the church property.
