Spring is a time of rebirth, revival and new possibilities. As the frost begins to thaw, and green shoots and colorful flowers start to emerge, come and celebrate Spring with us at Tuggeranong Uniting Church.
This year we are featuring a Floriade display right outside our church building for everyone to enjoy. We also have some fantastic spring events planned that will incorporate our church’s love of our beautiful natural environment, our commitment to environmental protection and sustainability practices, and our wish to create a friendly and welcoming community.
Our Spring events include:
We will be partnering with SouthFest and See-Change this year to hold a two day spring celebration! The event will incorporate elements of our annual spring fair, along with SouthFest stalls, workshops presented by See-change and much more. Click here for more information.
Floriade @ TUC
Floriade 2020 will see the event reimagined from its traditional format as an event in Commonwealth Park, to an event that will deliver plantings of tulips and annuals throughout Canberra. Tuggeranong Uniting Church has been selected as a location and we will have a number of beautiful flower beds, including one in the shape of a dove. Click here for more information.
This year has been a time of great uncertainty and change. Bushfires, toxic smoke, and the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic have affected us all in many ways. To celebrate the hard work and resilience of everyday Australians, the theme of Erindale Neighbourhood Garden’s Scarecrow Festival this year is Resilience and Renewal. Blessing of the Animals
Our church will be holding an outdoor Blessing of the Animals service on 27 September to give thanks for the animals who live with us, assist us and bring us comfort and joy. Pets such as cats and dogs, birds, reptiles, and fish, and other domesticated animals are welcome to attend. Click here for more information.
