Saturday 26 September and Sunday 27 September
Tuggeranong Uniting Church is partnering with SouthFest and See-Change to hold a spring celebration! Come along and share in this community event, and join with us to celebrate the wonderful sense or hope and regeneration that comes with this time of year!
Our SpringFEST Sustainability Fair will introduce you to some exciting new ways to reduce your environmental footprint, plus connect with others in your community!
The Fair will consist of a series of workshops held at the Erindale Neighbourhood Centre and the grounds of TUC, and will cover a variety of sustainability topics such as composting, seed saving and sharing, reducing plastic use, reducing food waste, worm farming… and a whole lot more! Workshop tickets and further details are available via Eventbrite.
Click here to view the range of workshops and book your place.
There will also be an all-day pre-loved clothing stall, plant stall, cakes and plants and Devonshire Teas available – and the BBQ. The TUC has Floriade garden beds on display at the front of the Church building, so come on down and experience Floriade in the suburbs, as well as marvel at the Spring Scarecrow Festival entries.
When: 9:00am – 3:00pm, Saturday 26 September 2020
Where: Tuggeranong Uniting Church, Corner Comrie Street and Sternberg Crescent, Wanniassa.
The event is being run in accordance with current COVID restrictions, and participants are advised to maintain good hand hygiene, stay 1.5m apart and please stay home if you are unwell.
On Sunday 27 September, the celebrations will continue with a “Blessing of the Animals” service outdoors conducted by Rev Elizabeth Raine (commencing at 9:30am).
