Praying together helps to grow our faith and to form and strengthen bonds among us as Christians. When we are connected to each other we are supported and encouraged both in our faith journey and in our day to day lives.
Prayer not only has a tangible effect on our own life and outlook it allows us to intercede on behalf of others and our world, and bring our doubt, worry and anxiety and lay it at God’s feet.
Jesus said that his house would be called a house of prayer, so come and join us as we seek his face, his wisdom and his blessing. The meetings take place in the chapel from 8am till 9am on Wednesday mornings. It is not necessary to pray out loud or prepare any prayers to take part, although you are welcome to if you choose.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
