TUC YOUTH PROGRAM

Tuggeranong Uniting offers plenty of great activities for our young congregation members to get involved in. Each month we hold our Fam@4 youth ministry evening, which is fantastic fun for the whole family. There are activities and games for all age groups, followed by a short church service designed especially for kids. The family is then invited to join us for dinner and conversation, to give both the children and adults an opportunity to chat and build friendships over a shared meal.

As well as our monthly youth gathering, TUC’s Sundays services are also a welcoming and inclusive time for young people. Each week a children’s story and message is incorporated into our Sunday service, and a supervised area for children is provided in our church auditorium. This area has bible based activities, craft supplies, books and toys to keep children engaged and learning while their parents attend the worship service.

TUC regularly holds “Messy Church” services throughout the year that are specifically aimed for the younger members of our congregation. Our Girls’ Brigade company and the children from the congregation are encouraged to participate in the running of these services by reading prayers and scripture readings, or by taking part in short plays and dramatic readings (participation is not compulsory).
