Take my hand

The fourth and last in our Advent Series and the theme this week is “When you are afraid, give me your hand. We are asked to imagine this directive from different perspectives, perhaps Joseph to Mary , or Mary to Joseph, or perhaps God whispering this to us, or maybe it is us, speaking it out to someone needing solidarity and support. This is a very pertinent message in this week following the Bondi terrorist attack when the call to community, unity and love is most profound. The scripture is Matthew 1:18-25.
