Matthew 2:1-12 tells the story of the Magi, the wise men who follow a sign that leads to Jesus. The Reverend Sharon Jacobs develops the theme “the road is not straight” and relates it to the journeys we find ourselves on and to the communities we find ourselves part of.

Sharon left the position of TUC Minister for Relationships and Growth with a focus on families and children and youth ministry generally. She also provided leadership to the Rainbow Christian Alliance. Sharon joined TUC during 2022 as a student minister while she finished off her training to be a Minister of the Word. She was ordained in February 2023 and Inducted in to her placement at Tuggeranong Uniting. She concluded her appointment in June 2026.
