Sharon delves into the Holy Family’s flight to Egypt following Herod’s decree to murder Jewish babies.
Building on the theme of What do you Fear, Sharon invites us to consider that fear can be a catalyst for change and for justice. The family’s escape to another country is borne of protection and love and resistance to unjust power. Fear does not freeze us, but propels us into action. So, in an uncertain and sometimes fearful world, may our fears propel us into action and seek of justice for those in our community and those who are marginalised. Sermon starts at 3:00
