Tuggeranong Uniting Church has suspended all our public activities until further notice in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. During this time when we are unable to meet together in person to worship, our church will be holding online interactive worship services. The online worship services will be in real time and allow you to hear our prayers, bible readings and our weekly sermon just as you would in a regular church service. Please click here for more information.
In our faith community we seek to grow in our understanding and in our relationship with God as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ. We want to be and to make disciples. Our hope is that everyone at TUC will engage in the process of actively following Jesus and help others do the same. Join us on Sunday mornings for a time of worship, communion and fellowship.
The 9.00am service is a welcoming group of people who seek a deeper faith in Christ. Our worship is based mainly on “traditional styles”, though we tend to think that this description does not represent our openness to a richer diversity in worship. Coffee and tea after the service provides the opportunity to reflect on the meaning of our worship in our daily lives and to share our journey in a friendly and supportive environment.
The 10.30am worship service brings together a group of people who worship God in a relaxed and joyful manner. As well as Bible-based messages, the music is contemporary and lively at times.
Building on our worship beyond music and the spoken word, we often explore alternative ways for individual and group reflection on Bible passages. There are many ways to connect with God in worship. Some weeks the 10:30am service focuses on meditative prayer and reflection, other weeks study and conversation. Some weeks we just offer a joyous celebration of praise and gratitude. Each Sunday we enjoy fellowship over a cuppa after the worship service.
Communion is celebrated on the third Sunday of each month at both services. At Tuggeranong Uniting Church we have an open table and all people, including children, are welcome to join in the fellowship meal.
